● Founding Collector access — opening in waves

Your collection deserves a real home.

"For collectors who don’t just collect — they shelf."

Collectors built this hobby together. It deserves more than scattered Facebook posts, risky DMs, buried listings, and fragmented communities.

Collectors built entire communities on platforms never designed for this hobby.

Shelfyst is being built to solve the frustrations collectors deal with every day.

Problem

I can’t trust sellers. Too many scammers.

Collectors still ask around, dig through old posts, and rely on screenshots just to figure out if a seller is legit.

Shelfyst Solution

Know who you’re dealing with.

Verified collectors, transaction history, reputation signals, and community feedback help make buying safer.

Problem

Search in Facebook groups sucks.

Great posts, listings, reviews, and setup ideas get buried in weak search and endless timelines.

Shelfyst Solution

Find what actually matters.

Discover collectors, setups, reviews, listings, and grails through structured collector tags — not broken Facebook search.

Problem

No real market price visibility.

Collectors are left guessing what a piece is worth, what it last sold for, and whether demand is rising.

Shelfyst Solution

Know what your pieces are really worth.

Track sold history, collector demand, wishlist activity, and market movement instead of relying on guesses.

Problem

Everything is fragmented across 20 groups.

The hobby is split across Facebook groups, multile platforms, and private DMs.

Shelfyst Solution

Your entire collector identity — in one place.

Shelves, grails, wishlist, feed, listings, reputation, and marketplace activity live around one profile.

Problem

Marketplace posts are messy and disappear in days.

Scale, condition, edition size, shipper, location, and trust details are rarely structured properly.

Shelfyst Solution

Listings built for collectors.

Condition, edition size, box status, shipper details, verification, and seller trust organized the way collectors actually need.

Social discovery and marketplace trust should feed each other.

Collectors do not just transact. They build shelves, follow other collectors, hunt grails, compare value, and eventually buy, sell, or trade with people they trust.

Build collector identity

Show shelves, owned pieces, grails, wishlist, and posts in one profile that actually reflects the hobby.

Discover with context

Follow collectors, find pieces, and browse activity through brand, scale, line, listing, and wishlist signals.

Transact with trust

Reputation, verification, transaction history, and structured listing details reduce the uncertainty around serious deals.

Trust should be infrastructure, not screenshots in a comment thread.

For high-value collectibles, trust is the product. Shelfyst is being designed around reputation, verification, transaction history, and structured listing standards from the start.

Trust signals we’re designing for

Reputation history
Verification paths
Transaction records
Structured listings

Start with identity and trust. Grow into market intelligence.

The first version creates the collector foundation. From there, trust signals and real market context get stronger over time.

Platform build in progress

Shelfyst is actively being built — not just a concept deck. First public release targets August 28, 2026.

Launch window is open — founding waves are rolling out.

Is this only for statues?

The platform is focused on premium figures, statues, busts, and high-end collectibles — including 1:6, 1:4, 1:3, life-size, resin statues, Hot Toys, Prime 1, Sideshow, Queen Studios, XM Studios, and similar collectibles. This is not a marketplace for cards, diecasts, Funko Pops, or unrelated collectible categories outside of the statue/figure community.

When is the initial release?

We’re currently building the initial release and onboarding founding collectors. Invitations will be sent to founding collectors first.

Will you spam my email?

No. We’ll only send important updates about the launch, beta access, platform progress, and major collector features.

Will there be seller verification?

Yes. Vault access is being designed around additional verification steps such as email, phone, and ID verification so serious sellers can build trust before high-value transactions.

How is this different from Facebook groups?

Facebook groups are temporary, fragmented, and hard to search. Shelfyst is built around permanent collector profiles, structured listings, reputation, transaction history, discovery, and market context.

Will there be buyer and seller ratings?

Yes. The goal is not influencer popularity or generic star ratings. Reputation should reflect collector reliability: completed transactions, communication, packaging quality, feedback, and dispute history.

What does transaction history mean?

It means completed sales, purchases, trades, and feedback can become part of a collector’s trust record. Long term, anonymized sold-history signals can also help collectors understand real market value.

Will the platform support local pickup and trades?

Yes. Local pickup, trades, and collector-to-collector transactions are part of the vision for the marketplace.

Can I showcase my collection even if I’m not selling?

Absolutely. The platform is not just a marketplace — it’s also a social space to share setups, display rooms, grails, and collection progress.

Will there be fees for selling?

Details are still being finalized, but the goal is to create a fair and collector-friendly marketplace experience.

How does founding access work?

Shelfyst opens in waves. Founding Collectors are invited in batches so we can keep quality high, protect trust standards, and improve the product with real collector feedback. Join the list now — we’ll email you when your wave opens.

Why not open to everyone at once?

Collectibles need trust — reputation, verification, and clear listings. Growing in waves lets us onboard serious collectors first and avoid the mess that happens when platforms scale too fast.

Can I become a founding collector?

Yes. Join the founding list before launch. Early members can receive a permanent Founding Collector badge, priority in early access waves, and input on trust and listing standards.

Access opens in waves

This isn’t an open signup for everyone at once. Founding Collectors join in waves so we can onboard collectors who care about the hobby, shape trust and listing standards, and grow the community without flooding it with low-quality listings or noise.

Built by collectors frustrated with fragmented groups, risky deals, disappearing posts, and messy marketplace searches.
